Barlows of Hermitage have been operating in the Newbury area since 1867.  We supply, manufacture and retail all types of wooden fencing, closeboard, pallisade, Post & Rail, Machined half round & full round fencing timbers, Landscape Sleepers from Softwood Sleepers, Oak Sleepers, Creosoted Sleepers.  Our main priority is quality of product as well as service.  The majority of our timber is sourced from UK Production.

Our square sawn post range are all Kiln Dried Pine timbers giving maximum penetration for longer life to UC4 classification.  We also offer Pro-Post Range with 15 Year Assured service life on rustic round timbers.

We manufacture a range of wooden gates, Garden Features, Wildlife Habitats and Outdoor Living features from our workshop in Hermitage near Newbury with over 100 years of manufacturing experience from our employees alone provides you with outstanding advise and service.  To accompany this we carry a wide range of ironmongery to suit all situations.  We also carry stocks of Five Bar Gates, Gate Posts and much, much more...
